Tempe Union High School District makes available to any student with a disability through the age of 21 Special Educaiton and related services. Any student with a suspected disability can be referred to the grade level counselor or to Alyssa Tarkington, Department Chair for Special Education at 480.706.7900 extension 2166 or the Tempe Union High School Director of Education Services at 480.839.0292. |

The Desert Vista High School Special Education Department is committed to the learning needs of all students by offering a comprehensive range of programs and service models. An effective system of communication and collaboration allows Desert Vista Students to receive Special Education services in a variety of settings. This includes general education, co-taught, and resource classrooms, as well as self-contained and community settings. We believe strongly in campus partnerships that are created among students, parents, and the entire Desert Vista community. |
